First step you have to do is to DOWNLOAD a beautiful and suitable template through Google.

Open the template zip file and find index.xml file or [Template name].xml file.

Extract the xml file on the computer.

Steps to install template on blogger

• Go to Blogger Dashboard
• Click on the TEMPLATE option inside the dashboard.
• On the TEMPLATE you'll find a button after the header on the top-right with the label of BACKUP/RESTORE

• Click on the button and a dialogue box will appear 

• Upload the Template!

Now, You've installed your template successfully. One thing to be remember in the end is that after installing the template, the widgets and gadgets of the blog aren't separated with the template, you have to set the widgets according to your template's design.
